Charity Challenges

Have you ever dreamed of dog sledding through the Arctic...wished you could trek through the Sun Gate and view the lost city of Machu Picchu? Wanted to work in a school in Africa, and help improve the lives of the impoverished children? All this and more is now available to you…

Across the Divide Expeditions organise trips all around the globe, to help raise money for charities and worthwhile causes. We have been running charity and corporate events for over 11 years. We have taken 1000's of fundraisers on international and UK events and have helped raise over £30 million for worthy causes.

We offer a wide range of challenge events - projects, bike rides and treks - for a huge number of charities. Whether you are an individual wanting to fundraise for the charity of your choice by taking part in one of our open events, or a charity wanting to put on an event for your supporters, Across the Divide offers an event for everyone.

What now?

  • If you wish to view our international and UK charity challenge events - treks, bike rides and projects - please use the quick search facility at the top of the page. You can search by country, charity, date or activity.
  • If you are interested in raising funds for a charity of your own choice, by taking part in one of our open events then click here.
  • If you are a charity wanting to put on your own event then please contact Steve Clark for international challenges and Tony Ford for UK events.

The participant wins:

Across the Divide will take you to amazing destinations which are both challenging and rewarding. Along the way you can help raise money for the charity of your choice.
We offer dozens of varied and exciting adventures in every part of the world. Take a look through our destinations and you will find an event for you! Prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure. If you want to hear first hand what it's like on an ATD charity challenge view Katie Bizzey's article here or Don Mullan's article here. Katie went on the Sahara Desert Trek with the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and Don to China with Children in Crossfire. To view other trekkers articles click here.

The charity wins:

Most charities within the UK and Ireland receive little or no government funding. Since the advent of the National Lottery some have found raising the capital required to make a difference more difficult. It's only through fundraising activities such as those provided by Across the Divide that they are able to make a difference.

If you are a smaller charity unable to put on an exclusive event then our Open Events are ideal. They require very little administration and NO financial risk.

If you are already involved in charity challenges and can get at least 20 people on an event then contact Steve Clark, our Sales Manager.

For the charity:

Exclusive Charity Challenges: book a fundraising charity event, fill it with committed fundraisers and you have a powerful fundraising tool. Or join up with another charity and take part in a Consortium Charity Challenges. Combine with another charity to reap the rewards of joint marketing and the superb economies of scale that Across the Divide offers.

Open Events: Charity challenges with no minimum number and when you get 15 participants signed up on an event the 16th goes for free, and Across The Divide will even help you with your marketing
